Wesley Wolfe - Numbskull: Solid singer/songwriter that I look forward to more of.

Wild Man Fischer - An Evening with: Merry go, merry go round.

White Lung - Deep Fantasy: Nothing revolutionary or essential.

Jack White - Lazaretto: More so than Blunderbuss, Lazaretto feels like a continuation of the White Stripes.

Weezer - Pinkerton: Not the biggest fan, but if there were an album to return to, this is it.

Weezer - Weezer (Green): I want more pop or more punk, but cannot get behind the middle ground it settles into.

Ween - The Mollusk: Still cannot get into it.

Ween - Chocolate and Cheese: No, sir, I do not like it.

Gerard Way - Hesitant Alien: If not for the pedigree, likely would not give it a second thought.

Wavves - King of the Beach: Should be a repeat for days to come.

Watsky - All You Can Do: Not the best showcase for new fans, but hard to deny the talent.

War on Drugs - Lost in the Dream: Feels like an essential album from a time long ago.

Violent Sons - Nothing as it Seems: Sean Murphy has one of those voices I will follow forever.

Velvet Underground - VU: Essential demos and odds-and-ends.

Velvet Underground - Loaded: Hits is what was asked for and what was delivered.

Velvet Underground - Velvet Underground and Nico: Five stars indeed.

Various - Whiplash: So good.

Various - Broadsheet Music- Year in Review: New (to me) Broken Social Scene is enough.

Sharon Van Etten - Are We There Yet: Indie folk that blends into the crowd.

TVOTR - Seeds: More intensity, almost as catchy, but lacks a Wolf Like Me.

TS and the Past Haunts - Cool Butt in French: I love Travis, but his post-Piebald stuff has been lacking.

Title Fight - Hyperview: Clear progression for the band, and I am thankful to be along for the ride.

Thank You Scientist - Maps of Non-Existent Places: Was hoping for more give their live show.

Test of Time - A Place Beyond: Great, borderline formulaic, hardcore.

Kate Tempest - Everybody Down: Easy comparison the Original Pirate Material, but it drags towards the end.

T. Rex - Electric Warrior: You know the song, just not who it is. And then you wish you had known all along.

Swans - To Be King: Continues to push my musical tastes in directions I did not foresee.

Sun Kil Moon - Benji: Dense yet sparse. This is him at his best.

Suicide - Suicide: Punk in spirit if not aesthetics.

Sufjan Stevens - Carrie & Lowell: A return to form that oozes sadness.

Spires That in the Sunset Rise - Curse the Traced Bird: Always searching for great post-rock leads to comparisons of GY!BE.
