Mother Earth - Make a Joyful Noise: Lost gem of the '60s.

Mogwai - Rave Tapes: One of their more restrained albums, and better off for it. Repelish is their most Slint-esque song in some time.

Modern Baseball - You're Gonna Miss It All: Big step up from Sports.

Modern Baseball - Sports: Stylistically similar to The Front Bottoms.

A Minor Forest - Independence: More instrumental, but in a challenging way.

A Minor Forest - Flemish Altruism: Musically between Tweez and Spiderland.

Mastodon - Once More 'round the Sun: Transitional album from who they were to who they want to be in the pop landscape.

Makthaverskan - I/II: I may not listen to the album in full, but I will always love when a song of theirs comes on.

Make Do and Mend - Don't Be Long: Less on the Foo Fighters, more on the Hot Water Music.

Make Do and Mend - Everything You Ever Loved: A great mix of Foo Fighters and Hot Water Music.

Liars - Mess: Trying to be Radiohead is a tough road, but they seem to be handling it well.

Jerry Lee Lewis - Another Place, Another Time: Country music classic from a godfather of rock.

Jenny Lewis - The Voyager: If not for her history, not sure I would care.

Sondre Lerche - Please: One of the most captivating voices in music.

Large Professor - The LP: Do not let release date affect your opinion, this is a great early '90s album.

Kendrick Lamar - To Pimp A Butterfly: Does not come across as cohesive, but needs more listens.

Kendrick Lamar - Section.80: Feels like the mixtape it is.

King Geedorah - Take Me To Your Leader: Easily my favorite MC.

Kaleidoscope - Incredible!: Might by hyperbolic, but Good Enough not as catchy.

Kain - Blue Guerilla: All I could think of was Pinot Noir.

KMD - Black Bastards: Great to hear MF Doom at the beginning.

Juliana Theory - Love: Later Saves The Day owes much to this.
